We sign artiste that represent the image we're trying to portray. we ensure our artiste of a decent fan base, incorporate re-mixes/guest musicians into the tracks we would be releasing and we make sure the music reflects the distributors style of genre, still trying to get airplay on local and international radio stations.
Guideline/Word for artistes:-
Song promotion: this is coming Last but its the most important aspect of it all.. Some upcoming artiste find it very easy to pay a producer 10,000 5,000 for a production work but they keep asking for free promotion of their songs online.. Incase you don’t Know some artiste you think are made or known still ppay some sites to Hype or promote their songs.. So if you an upcoming artiste and you find it hard to pay bloggers as a sign of apppreciation for uploading your tracks then I think you love being stagnant
Genres: as an upcoming artiste you need to know what kind of song your good in. If its Juju, fuji, rap or dance hall you need to be a real sppecialist on that aspect before attempting another.. If you keep switching style then your making yourselft imperfect (practice makes perfect)
The *musik industry is very unpredictable and you'll never know what new releases are going to be hot and which are going to be failures so plan on giving your best to the industry and your fans, if you drop a club banger then congratulations, but even if you don't, you should not give up. Use it as a learning curve. Either way, if you follow your this guideline you are giving yourself or your record label the best chance to succeed.
